Tigre, a Brazilian multinational leader in the manufacture of pipes, fittings and accessories in the country and one of the largest in the world, was recognized as one of the best companies in people management by the guide "The 150 Best Companies to Work for", of Você S/A magazine. The awards ceremony was held yesterday (3), in São Paulo.
"The methodology and credibility of the research, done directly with employees, ensures that Tigre is a really good place to work, which makes us proud and even more convinced that our policy of valuing people is on the right track," says Felipe Hansen, Chairman of the Board of Directors.
For him, the current management is adding new elements, which are fundamental to execute the strategy and to perpetuate this culture, such as transparency, walk the talk, true relationships and a quest for overcoming incessant, with the "desire to be happy where we work".
Featured in category "RH 2016 Challenge", which awards the company that best solved a great challenge of people management, Tigre is recognized for the 18th time by the publication.
This year, the HR team undertook a broad process, with a communication plan, impact assessment and structured change management work, alignment and leadership preparation to meet the challenges of a less business friendly period.
"Among other actions, we intensified communication and relationship events (such as Café com os Líderes), to maintain the engagement of professionals, enhancing the corporate transparency, "said José Renato Domingues, director of People and Sustainability.
