Since 2018 Tigre has been Global Pact signatory Global Pact. A volunteer action promoted by the United Nations Organization (UNO) that provides guidelines to promote sustainable growth and citizenship, by means of committed and innovative corporate leaderships.
Since 2018 Tigre has adopted the calculation methodology from Brazilian Program GHG ProtocolBrazilian Program GHG Protocol and uses the Emmissions Public Registration to disclose its global inventory of greenhouse gas emissions.
Tigre, as founder member, performs together with other companies interested in basic sanitation progress and in protecting the country hydrological resources. The Trata Brasil Institute is a Public Interest Civil Society Organization (OSCIP), with the purpose of raise society awareness so we have a fairer Brazil, with access to treated water, sewage collection and treatment.
Created in 2018, from a partnership with Artemísia, Gerdau, Instituto Vedacit and Votorantim Cimentos organizations, and support from Arquitetura e Urbanismo do Brasil, da Caixa Econômica Federal and Habitat Brazil non-governmental global organization. The purpose is to enhance entrepreneurs of impact focused on low income housing and knowledge generation on the theme.
